Shelton Ridge Love
Shelton Ridge Love grew up in a musical family. His love for music began by watching his mother play the organ at their home church. It was not long before Shelton became actively involved in music in the community. Since that time, he has served as pianist, organist, and director of music in several churches in Kansas City, MO and Upstate South Carolina.
For the last fifteen years, Shelton lived in Greenville, SC, where he worked as the artistic director and conductor of the Greenville Gay Men’s Chorus. For much of that time he also worked as a freelance organist for the great Greenville area and was an active member in the American Guild of Organists. He now resides in the Washington, D.C. area where he composes, teaches piano, and regularly plays for local churches.
Shelton has choral and keyboard works published by Lorenz Publishing Company, Beckenhorst Press, Hal Leonard, and Oxford University Press. For more information, visit sheltonridgelove.com.
