Jeff Perks

Jeff Perks (b. 1962) was born in Savannah, Georgia. He began music lessons at a very early age, followed by degrees in piano performance from Armstrong State College and the University of South Carolina. His career has involved positions as music director of Unity Presbyterian Church (Denver, North Carolina), Providence Baptist Church (Charlotte, North Carolina), Denver United Methodist Church, and as music director for the singing waiters of Bravo Ristorante (Charlotte, North Carolina). From 2000–06, Perks was the top-rated pianist for Carnival Cruise Lines. He has released numerous recorded piano albums, including Jeff & Friends, While I Pray, Tranquil Moments, and You Raise Me Up.
