Janet Vogt Zeitler

Janet Vogt, former Heritage Music Press Educational Keyboard Editor, received her Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from the College‑Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. She continued graduate studies there while serving as a teaching assistant in theory and composition. She has since served on the Alumni Board and as a member of the piano faculty of the Preparatory Department.

As an educator and piano teacher, Janet Vogt's experience also includes over twenty years of private and group instruction. She has also been a featured keyboard instructor at numerous music conferences. Her compositions have been featured on TV's The Guiding Light and Another World. Recordings and collections of liturgical music for children and choral works by Janet Vogt have been published by Oregon Catholic Press and Unity Music Press. Beyond music, her professional career has included social‑expression writing for Hallmark and Gibson greeting cards.

Janet lives in Cincinnati with her two sons, Jonathan and Alexander.
