George L O Strid

George L.O. Strid was born and raised in Oregon where he now lives with his wife, Karla, who is a teacher. George graduated from Oregon College of Education and obtained Master degrees in composition and in music education from Western Oregon State College.

Having taught for twenty‑five years, George currently teaches vocal music at Washington Middle School in Olympia, Washington's state capital. In addition, he travels throughout the USA and Canada for workshops and clinics.

George has been writing songs and musicals for over sixteen years with his writing partner, Mary Donnelly.
